To help members articulate key housing priorities, NAHB’s Monthly Update provides the latest messaging framework for the Federation. An exclusive benefit for NAHB members and local and state association leaders, the Monthly Update provides top-line information on housing economics and the housing priorities for the Federation.

Some highlights within the Monthly Update for March include issue updates and talking points related to:

  • Chief Economist Robert Dietz’s forecast for single-family starts in 2024;
  • An update on how code mandates could affect housing affordability; and
  • An NAHB-supported tax bill that will strengthen the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).

The Monthly Update is accessible to members, executive officers and HBA staff signed into laocui.net. In addition to the talking points, members can access the Senior Officers’ HBA travel schedule for the next six months.
